Life after exams

It’s tough to keep kids focused and engaged after they’ve finished their final exams. As I blogged earlier, our math exams were on the 14^th... but school continues until the 23^rd! Everyone knows that tests and grades are all that count, so why should anyone continue learning after the final exam? It’s final, isn’t it?

(Actually, a surprisingly large number of students are still paying attention and learning, but motivation is difficult for almost everyone, especially those who would prefer to cram for next period’s chem exam rather than concentrate on what’s going on in math class.)
